CHEO Gender Diversity Clinic Consultation

Focus Group Sign Up

Are you…

  • …a client of the CHEO Gender Diversity Clinic?
  • …a family member of a client?
  • …a health and social service worker who works with trans and gender diverse youth in Ottawa?

If so, are you interested in sharing your experiences in a confidential setting in order to improve CHEO Gender Diversity Clinic services?

Wisdom2Action has been hired by CHEO as an external consultant to support CHEO’s Gender Diversity Program Planning. We are pleased to invite you to participate in a focus group to explore your experiences and recommendations around access to care for trans and gender diverse youth at the clinic. Focus group findings will be used to compile a report with recommendations that will guide CHEO in addressing gaps and building on existing strengths in the current offerings for trans and gender diverse youth to improve services for trans and gender diverse youth.

Wisdom2Action Consulting is recruiting participants for a series of focus groups on the issue of access to care for trans and gender diverse youth for CHEO’s Gender Diversity Clinic.

This is an opportunity to express your thoughts and feelings in an anonymized forum. Only Wisdom2Action staff, not CHEO representatives, will have access to this form and will be present for the focus groups.

After the focus groups, here’s what will happen:

  • Wisdom2Action will remove all personal information from focus group transcripts
  • We will analyze the anonymized transcripts
  • We will use our findings to compile a report with recommendations that will guide CHEO in addressing the gaps and building on existing strengths in the current offerings for trans and gender diverse youth to improve services for trans and gender diverse youth.

Please note that Wisdom2Action are here as facilitators and may not be able to answer all questions or provide solutions on CHEO’s services.
