Wisdom2Action has supported many organizations in their work by engaging diverse communities and stakeholders. We endeavor to build capacity through creative facilitation, grounded in anti-oppression and participatory techniques, thereby helping organizations to improve their intended program and/or policy design. By helping to bring the right people together for the right kinds of conversations we can help organizations to better understand emerging issues, identify viable solutions, and explore new possibilities.

We Can Help You:

  • Review and/or develop engagement strategies and further embed meaningful community engagement into organizational processes and practices from inception to completion.
  • Plan and implement a conference or event that maximizes participant engagement, knowledge sharing, and networking.
  • Undertake consultations with stakeholders, through interviews, focus groups, or other methods, to better understand the distinct needs and priorities of different communities within the populations you serve.
  • Develop training and leadership programs for the communities and stakeholders you serve, to build their knowledge and skills as advocates and leaders.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Wisdom2Action acknowledges the land on which it was originally established as the traditional and unceded territory of the M’ikmaq, known as Mi’kmak’i (Nova Scotia). Our team is spread across Turtle Island (Canada) on the treaty lands of many First Nations. We recognize the people and the land in this way as part of our commitment to anti-oppression and decolonization. We are all treaty people.
