On October 14th, 2017, the Nova Scotia Office of the Ombudsman, in collaboration with See Meaning Graphic Facilitation and Wisdom2Action, hosted the first ever Nova Scotia Youth Summit.
Led by a team of youth hosts, a diverse group of young Nova Scotians aged 14 to 17 came together to participate in a unique and innovative approach to sharing and learning. They gathered to share their voices and discuss issues concerning youth today, and how they would like to see the Office of the Ombudsman support and engage with them moving forward.
Below is a video summary of the day. Thank you to everyone who participated in making the event a success!
