Wisdom2Action held a two day W2A event in Iqaluit, Nunavut on September 11 and 12, 2014. The event brought together over 50 people from across the territory who work with children and youth in challenging contexts.
The first day focused on defining what is wellness for children and youth in Nunavut, and sharing the promising practices or approaches that participants are seeing in their work. The second day focused on how we could together make a difference in the lives of children and youth in Nunavut. The report and videos below showcase some of the promising practices that were shared during the event, and explore the meaningful conversations that participants held with one another.
The event was co-created and co-hosted by a local planning team including youth from the community, and used the Art of Hosting approach. It took place at the Anglican Parish Hall in Iqaluit.
