The Regional Planning Table (RPT) for Trans, Non-binary, Two Spirit, Intersex and Gender Diverse Health is exploring the health and healthcare-related needs of Older Adults and Seniors within Ottawa and Surrounding Regions (a map of the region can be viewed here).
First and foremost, we need to hear from older adults and seniors to hear their perspectives, their needs and their recommendations related to health and healthcare for trans, non-binary, Two Spirit, intersex and gender diverse communities in the region.
The Regional Planning Table (RPT) for Trans, Non-binary, Two Spirit, Intersex and Gender Diverse Health is exploring the health and healthcare-related needs of Older Adults and Seniors in Ottawa and surrounding area, to inform possible interventions and initiatives to improve access to healthcare for trans, Two Spirit, Intersex and gender diverse communities throughout the region.
The Regional Planning Table was formed in 2016 to improve access to gender-affirming health and social services across Ottawa and the surrounding region (formerly known as the Champlain region) for trans, non-binary, Two Spirit, intersex, and gender diverse people. The RPT brings together service providers and community members to support efforts across the Champlain region to improve trans health and healthcare.
Wisdom2Action is a progressive consulting firm and social enterprise helping organizations facilitate change and strengthen communities. Wisdom2Action is working with the RPT to execute system planning activities and strengthen pathways to care for trans, non-binary, Two Spirit, intersex and gender diverse communities.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Wisdom2Action acknowledges the land on which it was originally established as the traditional and unceded territory of the M’ikmaq, known as Mi’kmak’i (Nova Scotia). Our team is spread across Turtle Island (Canada) on the treaty lands of many First Nations. We recognize the people and the land in this way as part of our commitment to anti-oppression and decolonization. We are all treaty people.
