Wellness Together Canada

2SLGBTQIA+ Community Needs Assessment Survey

Wellness Together Canada (WTC)  is a virtual portal hosting mental health and substance use resources and supports for the broad population across Canada. The portal emerged in April 2020 as a response to the mental health concerns brought on by and exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The portal aims to offer help-seekers open access to a variety of supports along a continuum of care including evidence-based information about mental health and substance use, self-guided interactional programming, self-assessment and management tools, as well as social support and professional counselling.

The purpose of this survey is to learn how WTC as a platform can better serve the needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across the country.

This survey is open to anyone who meets the following qualifications:

  • Self-identifies as a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community
  • Currently living in Canada or is a Canadian citizen living abroad
  • Has previous experience accessing the WTC platform, resources and/or services

*All responses to this survey will be kept anonymous and confidential.

*We recognize that not all acronyms that describe sexual and gender diversity can be completely inclusive and terms/acornyms are ever evolving. The acronym used throughout this survey was chosen based on community consultation with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals to reflect their preferred language.
