About the Project:

Wisdom2Action (W2A) is supporting Momentum on this project, and also in the selection of YAC members. Momentum and Wisdom2Action are working with organizations in Ghana and Malawi to deliver a two year project that aims to support 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Canada, Ghana and Malawi to address gender-based violence (GBV) through artistic expression and activism.

About the Youth Advisory Council:

As part of this project, W2A and Momentum will be designing and hosting a youth summit in Toronto that will bring together youth from Ghana and Malawi to focus on how to prevent and address GBV against 2SLGBTQIA+ youth through arts-based activism.

As part of this project, W2A is looking for 2SLGBTQ+ young people with diverse lived experiences to join a Youth Advisory Council (YAC). The YAC will assist in the design and implementation of the summit in Toronto and may also attend a youth summit hosted in Malawi (at no cost to the YAC members). For the YAC we are specifically seeking people who are:
