Hawthorne Armstrong

He/Him | Intern

Hawthorne Armstrong (he/they) is an intern with Wisdom2Action, based in Windsor, Ontario, on the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations — the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples, as well as many others. They are Haudenosaunee, specifically Onyota’a:ka, from the Oneida Nation of the Thames.

A youth worker and community advocate, Hawthorne has a background supporting youth experiencing homelessness or at risk, helping them build life skills, strengthen support networks, and work toward stability. They hold a Human Services Certificate from Fanshawe College and a Child and Youth Care Diploma from St. Clair College, and are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Equity, Diversity, and Human Rights with a minor in Gerontology.

Hawthorne is passionate about 2SLGBTQ+ advocacy, Indigenous activism, and creating inclusive spaces where youth can thrive.
