In 2019, Wisdom2Action worked with School Mental Health Ontario to organize provincial consultations with secondary school students to identify their mental health knowledge needs, gather their ideas on building mental health awareness and reducing stigma, learn more about how students want to be engaged in school mental health and provide recommendations for how students, schools and other key stakeholders can work together to improve student mental health.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Wisdom2Action acknowledges the land on which it was originally established as the traditional and unceded territory of the M’ikmaq, known as Mi’kmak’i (Nova Scotia). Our team is spread across Turtle Island (Canada) on the treaty lands of many First Nations. We recognize the people and the land in this way as part of our commitment to anti-oppression and decolonization. We are all treaty people.
