Rayan Saied (she/her) is a project officer with Wisdom2Action based in Tkaronto, on the traditional territory of many Indigenous nations including the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.
Rayan is a workshop developer, facilitator and researcher who is passionate about addressing anti-Black racism and has extensive experience researching the experiences of and developing workshops for BIPOC youth.
Rayan holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and uses her lived experiences and intersectional lens to help inform her work. She currently also works as the workshop lead at LIL SIS. Rayan aims to continue doing work that positively impacts the lives of BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ youth and that challenges and addresses systems of oppression.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Wisdom2Action acknowledges the land on which it was originally established as the traditional and unceded territory of the M’ikmaq, known as Mi’kmak’i (Nova Scotia). Our team is spread across Turtle Island (Canada) on the treaty lands of many First Nations. We recognize the people and the land in this way as part of our commitment to anti-oppression and decolonization. We are all treaty people.
